Amongst very little fanfare, iD Mobile have changed their fair use policy for using data whilst roaming in the EU.
If you’re an iD Mobile customer and off on holiday soon then you’ll want to know how much data you can use whilst enjoying your travels.
Previously, iD Mobile had a ‘floating’ data cap based on the price of your monthly plan, this has all changed since June 21st 2023 as the virtual network has now standardized their EU Roaming fair use data policy.
This only effects customers purchasing post June 21st, existing customers will continue to have the previously set data cap.

New iD Mobile Fair Use Policy for EU Roaming
iD Mobile’s amended roaming data cap is good news for the majority of new customers, rather than the rather confusing cap based on your spend they have now set the limit to a generous 30GB data a month whilst travelling in the EU.
Better still, there is still no daily charge for accessing your data, calls and texts whilst roaming in the EU!
Considering the MVNO (mobile virtual network operator) runs on top of the Three network who not only charge a daily fee to access your data whilst abroad but also limit it to just 12GB a month, this is a great way to enjoy Three’s coverage whilst at home as well as more than double your EU data roaming allowance.
